Serving Gilroy. Listening to Our Neighbors. Looking Ahead. Gilroy is more than the city I serve. It’s home. Serving on the Gilroy City Council has been one of the greatest honors of my life. It has given me the opportunity to meet people throughout our community, listen to their concerns, celebrate what is going right and work through some of the difficult decisions that come with a growing and changing city. That is why I am running for reelection to represent District 5.

As we enter November, the holiday season begins with Thanksgiving. The fall season has changed the weather, with the cool evenings and the leaves becoming very colorful. While we do not have the true four seasons, fall is one that mimics the same process no matter where you live. The days become shorter, and we make our adjustments to this. It is one of my favorite seasons, because it causes me to be reflective of the year that is ending, and introspective of how truly blesse
